The leakage occurred in oil-gas pipeline will make huge economic loss and environmental pollution. Thus, it is very important to study and select appropriate leakage detective technique for oil - gas pipeline. In this article, some leakage detective and fixation techniques for oil-gas pipeline in China and at abroad as well as their mechanisms, disadvantages and advantages were summarized. At the same times, the existed problems and possible development directions were also indicated.
