Investigation and Careful Study of the Xiongxiangshan Mountain

据司马迁《史记》记载,黄帝巡视和征伐天下的最后一站乃熊湘山。但由于山名的变更,从东汉时起,就被为《史记》作注的史学家们弄得面目全非,甚至沉没在史学界的深渊。大量史料证明:熊湘山就是湖南省益阳市境内的碧云峰。

According to the Historical Records by Si Maqian the Yellow Emperor made an expedition and campaign all over the country and his last resort was Xiongxiangshan Mountain. However, as the name of the mountain was changed, it was distorted beyond recognition by the historians who annotated Historical Records and was even submerged in historiography since the Eastern Han Dynasty. A great deal of historical documentation confirms that Xiongxiangshan Mountain is no other than the Biyunfeng Mountain situated now in Yiyang of Hunan province.
