语篇翻译认为,语篇是翻译的最大交际单位,能否实现语篇交际功能直接决定翻译是否成功。语篇分析与翻译的有效结合,使翻译摆脱了原文句式的束缚,转而采用语篇视角。"衔接"、"连贯"是对翻译活动影响甚大的语篇标准。在众多翻译策略中,增益是实现衔接、获取连贯的重要手段。从语篇分析角度进行散文翻译,有效地运用增益策略,能帮助译文在语篇层次上与原文尽量接近,实现翻译的交际功能。

The context is the largest communicative unit in translation, and the success of translation depends on the achievement of the communicative function of text. An efficient combination of text analysis and translation study enables translation thinking to be carried out well beyond the limitation of word, sentence and even paragraph concepts. In the seven principles of text, cohesion and coherence are most influential upon translation. Amplification, among many translation strategies, plays a great role in achieving cohesion and coherence in translation. The application of text analysis and amplification to prose translation studies will help the realization of equivalence at textual level and the close communicative effect.
