我国的近代体育课程的演进过程中,清政府的救亡图存运动带来了西方欧美体育的理论和思想火花,影响并促进了我国体育课程的初步发展。而教会学校经常举办的校内和校际体育活动和比赛,在一定程度上对当时我国的学校体育课程设置以及体育课程的内容产生了重要的示范和引导的作用。在近代体育课程发展的整个过程中,政治气候环境是体育课程发展的决定因素。
