Translating is not only a purposeful activity but also an economic act.In any given market,the translator won t realize his own interest until he has satisfied his receivers requirements.Therefore,it is economically justifiable to select a translation strategy fit for the intended purpose of the target text in accordance with Skopos theory.Such practice will surely be contributive to the sustainable development in the translation trade in the long run.
