On People-oriented Philosophy in Square Design

以人本之道为核心,从广场设计、广场设施布置、广场景物设计等角度阐述了广场与人的活动的紧密联系,指出人在广场中停留是否具有足够的空间,既是广场设计是否成功的关键,也是评价广场设计的重要标准之一。

With people-oriented philosophy as the core, and from the aspects of the square design, the collocation of square facilities and the design of square scenery, this paper explains the close relationship between the square and human activities and points out that whether there is enough space for people to stay in the square is the key to the square design as well as an important standard of evaluating the square design.
