"家"、"角"为古今常用词,在古代有多个读音与意义。"家"有四音,本义为名词。《说文》:"家,居也。"而依段玉裁说"家""乃豕之居",即猪圈,引申为"人之居",又引申指家庭主要成员等。而"角",《说文》释为"兽角也",为名词,还可用作动词、形容词、量词等;共有二音及多种引申用法。此外,"家"和"角"还可组成复合词语。

＂Home＂ and ＂horn＂ are the words normally used in ancient and modern time. They have several pronunciations and meanings in ancient time. The term ＂home＂ has four pronunciations. However,according to Duan Yucai＇s view,it means pigsty, and then was extended to people＇s house,after that, main family members etc. Another term ＂horn＂ was defined as beast＇s horn in Shuowen, which is a noun.
