In recent years,digital power supply control is gaining a lot of interest in the power supply community.The idea of replacing traditional analog control techniques by digitally controlled methods with its numerous possibilities especially attracts designers who have to master multiple supply voltages on their board.This article presents some new controllers that have hit the market recently,and gives an idea on the benefits and ease of use in point-of -load(POL) applications.
