摘要
澳大利亚联邦政府于2000年出台《土著民族教育(目标援助)法案》,2004年又重新修订了该法案,旨在通过增加拨款支持土著民族教育,提供教育机会,促使其平等参与社会生活,最终实现保留和发展土著民族文化的目标。该法案重视少数民族的群体利益,促进了教育机会均等的发展,是澳大利亚多元文化主义教育政策的产物。
The federal government Australia issued Act of Education for Aboriginal People(Objective Assistance) in 2000 and revised it in 2004.The purpose of this is to increase funding to support education for aboriginal people,supply education opportunity,and ensure their equality in participating social life so as to finally realize the goal of preserving and developing the culture of aboriginal people.This act put priority to group interest of ethnic minorities and enhanced development of equal opportunity in education. It is the result of the policy for multi-cultural education in Australia.
