Relationship Between Restenosis After Implantation of Drug-eluting Stent and Inflammatory Reaction

药物涂层支架的应用使冠心病的介入治疗有了长足进展,但是支架再狭窄仍是不容忽视的问题。现就支架后的炎症反应和再狭窄的关系,药物涂层支架对于抑制炎症和降低再狭窄发生率的作用机理进行综述。

Since the introduction of the bare-metal stent, the drug-eluting stent has made major developments in percutaneous coronary intervention in the treatment of obstructive coronary artery disease. However, long term success of percutaneous coronary intervention is in- hibited by neointimal hyperplasia occurring within the stent leading to in-stent restenosis. This article reviews the relationship between in- stent restenosis and the inflammatory reaction after stenting, and the mechanism for the drug-eluting stent to inhibit the inflammation and de- crease the rate of in-stent restcnosis.
