Evolvement and Difference: Discrimination of Structured Issues on Chinese Resident Consumption

从总体、城乡以及地域差别三个不同角度分析了中国当前消费结构的现状,得出中国消费结构总体趋势良好,但存有不真实成份,主要表现在城乡及地域差别较大、消费结构不合理且与收入水平不相符等几个方面。

This study elaborates the present situation of Chinese consumption structure from three viewpoints of totality, ur- ban-rural difference and regional difference. It is considered that the total trend of Chinese consumption patterns is appro- priate. But there still exists obvious difference between urban and rural areas and among different regions. The consump- tion structure is not reasonable, and the consumption structure does not match with the actual level of income. Through analyzing the MPC and expenditure elasticity, the trend of future consumption structure is studied.
