中日中产阶层性质特点的比较分析

A Comparative Analysis on the Middle Classes in China and Japan

本文针对日本《下流社会——新阶层群体的出现》一书在中国广受关注,且认同者多为中产阶层成员的现象,试从中产阶层的形成及结构特点等角度对中日两国的中产阶层性质进行比较分析。与经济上的"中间位置"性这样一种日本中产阶层的本质特性相比,中国中产阶层具有阶层形成的意识形态性、阶层意识的薄弱性、阶层状况的弱势性等阶层特点。在"下滑感"造成阶层心理动荡并可能引发社会结构不稳定这一点上,二者不无相通之处,这促使我们在实现中国和谐社会发展的整体目标下,切实关注中产阶层的生存状况。

This article is a review of The Lower Class, A New Class Emerging in Japan in terms of its acceptance in China. The fact that this book is popular among the Chinese middle class makes it reasonable to compare the formation and structure of the middle classes in Japan and in China. While the middle class in Japan is characterized by its ＂middle position＂, its counterpart in China is characterized by its special ideology involved in its formation, its lack of awareness of itself as a social class, and its weakness. The two groups are similar to each other in that the sense of their ＂lowering＂ position may cause psychological and social instability, which urges us to pay attention to the middle class in China as one means of realizing social harmony.
