The Significance for the Subject of Calligraphy Style Emerging of the Chinese Character View in Ancient Times of China

中国古代关于文字起源的说法主要有两个系统:源于易卦说和仓颉造字说。若从书体发生学的视角而言,其中的"仓颉造字"说,不仅体现了古人关于文字创造本末倒置的认识模式,而且,中国古代最初关于书体发生学的本末倒置的观念意识,也始于这些关于文字源起的神话。

There are two systems about the origin of Chinese characters in ancient times of China： the Eight Trigrams and the character making of Cang Jie. From the view of the subject of calligraphy style emerging, the character making of Cang .lie embodies the ancients＇ cog- nitive model of taking the branch for the root about character making. Furthermore, some views of taking the branch for the root about the subject of calligraphy style emerging in ancient times of China also originate from these myths about character origins.
