摘要
沈从文的"湘西世界"和威廉·福克纳的"约克纳帕塔法天地"可被视为具有象征和隐喻意义的神话体系,但两人对各自创作的神话—原型模式结构的阐释不同:沈从文的小说呈现了"神之再现"的原型模式;福克纳的小说展示的则是"神之解体"的原型模式。二人小说中的主人公体现着不同的神性和人性。
Shen Cong-wen s ＂Xiangxi World＂and William Faulkner s ＂Yoknapatawpha world＂ can be regarded as a kind of mythological systemS which have symbolic and metaphorical connotations.However,the two writers interpreatations of the mythological systems are different：Shen Cong-wen focuses on the ＂Reappearance of the God ＂ archetype model,While Faulkner concentrates on ＂the disaggregation of God ＂archetype model.
