Synthesis and Characterization of PA1212-b-PEG Block Copolymers Based on Carboxyl-Terminated Nylon 1212 and Amine-Terminated Polyethylene Glycol

摘要 以双端羧基尼龙1212和双端氨基聚乙二醇制备了尼龙1212(PA1212)-b-聚乙二醇(PEG)嵌段共聚物,用红外分析(FT-IR)和核磁共振(1H-NMR)确定了PA1212-b-PEG的结构,用1H-NMR确定了产物的分子量,并测试了材料的力学性能。结果表明,PA1212-b-PEG的断裂伸长率比尼龙1212有了明显提高。与以羟基封端的聚醚作为软段制备的嵌段共聚物相比,聚合反应可以在较低的真空度下进行,聚合温度和时间有所降低和缩短,聚合过程无需使用催化剂,得到的嵌段共聚物分子量有所提高,且具有较高的拉伸强度和弯曲强度。 Thermoplastic polyamide elastomers (TPAEs) based on carboxyl-terminated nylon 1212 (PA1212dC) and amine-terminated polyethylene glycol (NH2-PEG-NH2) were synthesized by melt condensation. The composition and segment lengths of block copolymers were determined via Fourier transform infrared spectroscopic (FT-IR) and hydrogen nuclear magnetic resonance spectrum (1H-NMR). The PA1212-b-PEG presents the better toughness than that of pure nylon 1212. Using amine-terminated PEG instead of hydroxyl-terminated PEG as soft segment, we synthesized the TPAEs at lower temperature, in shorter time, and without the catalysts. Meanwhile, the TPAEs presents the higher molecular weight, tensile and bending strength than that of TPAEs synthesized by using hydroxyl-terminated PEG as soft segment.
