This paper illustrates the operating principles and the applications of several special power supplies. These special power supplies are the electrolytic rectifier, the electric plating power supply, the speed control power supply for synchronous motor, the speed control power supply for DC motor, the charging and discharging power supply for batteries, the DC power supply for arc welding.
