A Translation Research on "solar terms" and "constellation" in Chinese classic poetry

节气与星宿在我国古典诗词中屡见不鲜,从古至今,无数的文人墨客借助节气与星宿的意象抒发自己的感情。本文通过对古典诗词中节气与星宿的翻译进行探讨,指出要译好这种文化色彩词,就要充分考虑到这些词语在不同的语境中,应采取不同的翻译方法。

The images of solar terms and constellation, in virtue of which countless literati intelligentsia expresses their sentiment from then until now, commonly occur in Chinese classic poetry. This paper probes into the translation of the solar terms and constellation in classic poetry, considering that when translating the cultural color words, translators should interpret the correspondent meaning based on the poetic context, adapting to time and local conditions.
