The Subjectivity of Translator in Feminist Perspective——A Case Study of Zhu Hong's Translation of The Sun Is Not Out Today

女性主义翻译理论对传统译论中的忠实概念和译者主体性做出了新的阐释,认可与鼓励女性主义译者在意义生产过程中积极发挥其主体性作用。文章通过分析朱虹所译的《今天没有太阳》,发现朱虹在其翻译中显示出自身的女性主义意识,在对译作的选择和翻译的处理上都发挥了译者的主体性。

Feminist translation theory has reinterpreted the concept of fidelity in translation and the subjectivity of translator from the perspective of gender studies. It recognizes and encourages feminist translators＇ subjectivity in the production of meaning. Through a case study on Zhu Hong＇s translation of The Sun Is Not Out Today, the author finds out that Zhu Hong has displayed her feminist consciousness, and given her subjectivity as a translator into full play in terms of both text selection and translation.
