An Analysis of the Press Review in the Late Qing Dynasty

From an analysis of the main form, manuscript sources and the authors of the press review during the late Qing dynasty,we can see that the press review had a broad base of popular support, carrying the complex political ideas in the period of social transition of the Qing Dynasty. The flourishing press review is an inevitable development of modem culture, the performance of the sense of intellectual awakening as well as the popularization of the modem mass media.
