Sixty years have passed since New China was born. That segment of time is no more than a transient instant in the long process of history. During this period, the Chinese people, under the leadership of the Communist Party of China （CPC）, have made eye-catching and brilliant achievements in building up a democratic, prosperous and powerful socialist country through their unremitting hard work.The once poor and backward China has been transformed into a rudimentarily thriving and prosperous New China.
