A Quantitative Analysis of the Pattra Medicine Literature in 1989—2008

目的：分析傣医药研究现状．方法：检索1989～2008傣医药学术文献并进行统计分析．结果：傣医药学术文献数量自2005年起迅速增加，文献主要著者、主要研究单位和主要刊载期刊均比较集中，论文被引用频次较低，傣药成方制剂品种GCP／GLP条件下的安全有效性研究文献较少．结论：应提高傣医药研究的开放程度，吸引更多高水平研究机构、资深专家教授、有实力的企业和企业家加入到傣医药的研究和开发巾来，加强傣医药优势领域基础及应用研究，加强现有成药品种2次研究开发、加强傣医药及其文化的市场营销．

The paper gives an analysis of the research status of the Pattra medicine and retrieves its related literature in 1989--2008 for an statistical analysis. It concludes that the quantity of the literature has increased rapidly since 2005 and there are some major authors, institutes and journals. The theses on such medicine have not been quoted frequently. There is relatively little literature on the safety and efficacy of Pattra medicinal products under GCP/GLP conditions. The paper brings up the following suggestions： It is necessary to involve more qualified institutes, professors and experts, enterprises and entrepreneurs in the research and development of Pattra medicine. It is worthwhile to quicken the basic and application research of Patta medicine, especially the patent medicine, and to improve its marketing strategies.
