The main factors affect the performance of the packet data service of CDMA2000 -1x system include the following： 1. The bandwidth oscillation of supplemental channel greatly affects the throughput of the upper TCP service; 2. The supplemental channel assignment delay affects the utilization rate of channel resources ; it brings up two improved scheduling algorithms that help improve the packet service performance： FSCH assigmnent delay optimization; FSCH scheduling duration adjustment; it tests the performace of the improved scheduling algorithm and compares it with the unimproved algorithm, and it concludes that the throughput performance of the system increases about 10 percent.
