民办高校图书馆创新服务的思考

民办高校图书馆大多诞生不久,各种软硬件还不完善,如何更好地为师生的教学和科研服务有待研究。民办高校创办的新理念为图书馆如何创新服务提供了新的理念和思路。图书馆应该深入揭示馆藏资源,形成知识元网络,鼓励用户参与建设资源,主动地向用户推介资源,引导用户发现资源,并降低发现和获取资源的成本,满足高校图书馆大众市场和小众市场的需求。

Most of non-governmental colleges in China are very young, and their facilities and administration still needs to be improved in order to provide better services for teaching and researches. The new ideas of non-governmental colleges for running school can be used for their libraries to provide innovative service. Libraries should try their best to show their collection to form knowledge-based net-works, encourage their users to participate in the recourses construction, be initiative in recommending resources to users, help users to find necessary resources, reduce the cost of finding and getting resources, and meet the requirements of high-end and low-end users.
