Progress in Preoperative Assessment of Refractory Epilepsy Originated in the Functional Areas

人们对位于功能区病变引起癫痫的手术治疗看法不统一,究其原因,在于致癫灶定位的不精确,而充分的术前评估可以将病灶准确定位。目前功能区难治性癫痫的术前评估范围很广,主要包括病史、神经系统检查、脑的电生理检查、形态影像学及智力测试等一系列检查。本文就此方面近年来进展情况予以综述。

It is still in discuss for treatment of refractory epilepsy originated in the functional areas, the reasons of which maybe associated with inaccuracy location of the lesions. The sufficient preoperative assessment may be helpful for accuracy location. Preoperative evaluation of functional area refractory epilepsy is wide including of medical history, neurological examination, brain electrophysiology, morphological imaging and a series of intelligence tests. This paper reviewed the progress of preoperative assessment of refractory epilepsy originated in the functional areas in recent years.
