摘要
塑料光纤以其芯径大、柔韧性好、连接方便和耦合效率高等优点,为光纤到户(FTTH)接入问题提供了很好的解决方案。文章通过MATLAB对塑料光纤连接器中的光纤耦合效率问题进行了模拟仿真。提出了一种用于FTTH的实用塑料光纤连接器结构,该连接器具有连接损耗低、操作简单、安装方便和性价比高等特点。
Thanks to its advantages of large core diameter,good flexibility,convenient connection and high coupling efficiency,the Plastic Optical Fiber(POF) provides excellent solutions for FTTH access.On the basis of simulation of the fiber coupling efficiency in the POF connector by using MATLAB,this paper presents the structure of a practical plastic fiber connector for FTTH,which is characteristic of low connecting loss,simple operation,convenient installation and high cost performance.
