By exploring the fear of death and the sadness of life in their literacy creation, Zhang Ailing ( 1920 -1995) and other Chinese Neo- sensationalism writers had tried to deny, resist and even transcend the death itself. There were lots of writings of the relation between sex and death, which could only be regarded as a kind of empathy in which sex actions of the figures reflected their fear of death. Meanwhile, these Neo - sensationalism writers had founded that the individuals of human beings were facing a serious spiritual crisis under the cultural context of war. This paper holds that such creation has gone beyond the macro narration of the events of the time since the May 4th movement and attached great importance to people's daily life, in which the daily trifles have become significant in resisting anxiety of death.
