This paper introduces the method that centrifugal pump expert system for fault diagnosis,establishing the knowledge base and global datebase of the fault of centrifugal pump in SQL Server datebase,creating the fault rule and reasoning machine with the expert system tool clips, making use of terrace of Windows XP, we studied methods that embed Clips core inference engine to C＋ ＋ Builder platform,introduces the design theories of carting out the expert system.
