摘要
基于英文商务信函衔接手段的语用认知分析,发现衔接产生于交际双方的认知互动,本质为调节语篇效果的一种认知手段。衔接除连句成段、缀段成篇外,还可实现商务信函的简洁性、清晰性、礼貌性和美学性。
Based on the pragmatic and cognitive analysis of the cohesive devices in business letters,it was concluded that cohesion,produced in the cognitive interactions between communicators,is a communicative strategy of and for communicators.As an important discourse-building resource,it contributes a lot to the conciseness,clearness,courteousness and concinnity of business letters.
