On Cultivation of the English Communicative Competence of Vocational College Students

交际离不开语言,交际能力的培养是高职生学习英语的最终目的。本文分析了高职生的学习目的,从课堂教学方法、教学内容、教学形式以及课外活动的开展等方面探讨如何培养高职生的英语交际能力。

Communication is inseparable from the language. The cultivation of the English communicative competence is the final purpose of English learning for vocational college students. This paper analyses the learning purpose of vocational college students, and discusses how to cultivate their English communicative competence from the following aspects： teaching methods, teaching contents, teaching forms in class and extracurricular activities out of class.
