Autonomous Learning in College English Teaching and the Role of Teachers

学会学习是学习的最终目的,培养大学生自主学习能力是英语教学的必然要求,也是提高英语教学效率的有力保证。本文分析了英语教学的现状,从改变师生的观念入手,以新的视角论述了学生的学习方法、教师在课堂中的角色作用。

Learning to Learn is the ultimate goal of learning,it is an essential requirement for English language teaching to develop autonomous learning ability of university students,but also to improve the efficiency of English teaching.This paper analyzes the status of English teaching,first changing the concept of teachers and students,then changing the student learning methods and means as well as the role of teachers and the role of conversion,gradually developing students ability to learn independently.
