14例MB患者以二甲胺不素(MINO)100mg/日治疗,每周6天,疗程3个月,其中8例于疗前及治疗,1,2和3个月时取皮损活检作鼠足垫接种,测定药物对麻风菌活力的影响。结果显示:治疗1个月时,8例中有4例接种的小鼠分别有1只检出少量麻风菌,但未达到繁殖程度,另4例未检出活菌,治疗2和3个月时,8例均未检出活菌,提示MINO是高效的抗麻风药物,可作为常规抗麻风的替代药物。
Fourteen cases of MB leprosy have taken Minocycline 100 mga day in six days of a week for three months,of which eight cases were taken skin biopsies before and in the months 1,2 and 3 of the treatment and inoculated into mice foot pad for measure of the drugs activity against M.Leprae.The result showed that in the first month of the treatment the inocu- lations of four cases had no growth and after month two all no ML,suggesting very high antibac- terial potency.The authors think that the drug can be routinely used as an alternative antileprosy drug.
