＂The third way＂ is the most important theory of Giddens. It rose in 1990s. It is not only a new ethos, but also the important policy in Europe. This article includes the history and central theory of ＂The Third Way＂. ＂The Third Way＂ is not the universal truth, especially under the situation that the financial crisis is coming nowadays. It is concluded that any theory must match the political circumstance if it wants to be more stronger.
