The paper recounted the damage cause of Yingxian wooden tower in Shanxi and the origin,the researchaim,the research train of thought and the technical plan of the item of the environmental geology research for the wooden tower.It was suggested that the item is an attempt to serve the economic construction by the seismogeological method.
