Study on Damage Cause of Yingxian Wooden Tower by Method of Engineering Surveying

用工程测量方法研究了山西应县木塔是否垂直、层与层之间是否处于扭曲状态、塔底座是否在同一高程上等问题。结果表明，木塔处于复杂的顺时针扭曲状态，证实木塔的损坏是历史地震活动造成的。

Using the method of engineering surveying,the paper studied whether Yingxian wooden tower is vertical or not,the storey state is contorted or not,the back of the tower is on same height or not.The surveying result suggested that the wooden tower is situated in complex clockwise contorted state.It was proved that the earthquakes damaged the wooden tower.
