China Development Bank （CDB） recently signed amemorandum of understanding on cooperation with the Inter-American Development Bank （IDB）. CDB is China＇s first commercial bank transformed from a policy bank. It started its financial cooperation with Latin America in 2005, and has so far established cooperation relations with Venezuela, Brazil, Chile, Peru, Argentina, Mexico, and Costa Rica, with totalamount of financing exceeding US￥8 billion.
