文章通过对东方红<5>型内燃机车风源系统的介绍,并结合对机车近几年该系统的故障统计,找出故障根源,根据自身的检修水平,成功实施了切合实际的改造,并取得了良好的应用效果和经济效益,为内燃机车的技术升级改造提供了依据。

By introducing the pneumatic supply system for the diesel locomotive type Dongfanghong -5, and combining with its fault statistics in recent years,the paper finds out the fault reason, and decides on reform pattern. As a result, we achieve the desired result, so as to provide experiences for technological reforming old type locomotives.
