Yang Jiang is a particular writer in Chinese literature in the 20th century. She treats writing as home of her soul and emotion, so she writes works whenever she has deep feelings and wherever she has stories to tell. These works are created in her spare time, which are both plain and vivid, with sense of humor and deep feelings. However, as a scholar, her works are relatively short of variation and creativity because of her reason. Writing to follow her own inclinations brings her both achievements and limitations in her writing.
