High-productivity Coating of Large Components by Means of Submerged-arc Welding with a Powder Filler Metal

摘要 描述了一种对连铸辊轮表面双层熔覆的埋弧焊新工艺。它采用了两根低合金电极(Φ2.5 mm)和一种高合金填充粉末。这种工艺效率高,得到的组织细且均匀,并且根据不同要求可以灵活改变涂层成份。 The manufacture of two-layer anti-wear surfacing on continuously cast rollers by means of submerged-arc welding with two low-alloy wire electrodes (φ2.5 mm) and a high-alloy powder filler metal is described. The advantages of the process include not only the high productivity and the fine and homogeneous structure of the surfacing coat but also the adaptability of the coating to special requirements.
