The reasons of psychological highlights caused in word meaning development are analyzed depending on the cognitive analysis. In the article, it infers that the word meaning development is constructed by its cognitive connection in the synchronic aspect. The development of word meaning in the plant category is with an overwhelming advantageous and extending trend, and a breakthrough of the research for the uncertain items is found from the cognitive perspective.
