Non-verbal communication is an indispensable part of communication. Cultural differences in non- verbal behavior often lead to misunderstanding, which has become one of the big obstacles in intercultural communication. The effective ways to foster students＇ non-verbal intercultural communication competence include： improving non-verbal communication awareness, introducing non-verbal behavior knowledge of target language, comparing cultural differences in non-verbal behavior between native language and target language and seeing original classic English movies.
