The novel Child of the Sands tells a story in a narrative way of the traditional Arabic monologue story-telling, we can read through the lines and get a better understanding of the Arabic culture for it＇s rich both in the form and content.Meanwhile, it is a typical modernistic novel, possessed of the characteristics of unfinalizability and it＇s unaccomplished so there is still room for your imagination.This paper tries to analyze the story in an existentialistic angle by way of construing the structure as well as the content, representing the survival situation artistically, tracing out a vivid picture of the living conditions of this special group of Arabic women.
