摘要
本文从理论上评述了"写长法"的理念和优势,通过对基础教育阶段56名学生开展的为期两个学期的英语"写长法"教学实验,发现"写长法"不仅能增强学生英语写作的自信心,还能促进英语整体水平的提高,适当调整后的"写长法"完全可以下移到基础教育阶段,并取得显著的实效,值得推广。
This paper comments on the ideas and advantages of ＂Length Approach＂ （LA）. In an experiment of applying the approach in a high school for two terms （57 students participated the trial）, it was found that the LA could not only increase students＇ self-confidence in writing, but also helped stimulate students to learn English. It is suggested that the approach could also be effective and significant to be applied at the stage of elementary English education with proper revision.
