摘要
语料库语言学(Corpus Linguistics)的发展为揭示词汇搭配行为创造了条件。基于语料库的研究方法,对比分析seek在英语本族语语料库BNC和中国学习者英语语料库CLEC中的搭配行为,可以发现英语本族语者和中国英语学习者在产出seek时,其类联接、语义使用、搭配词及语义韵方面,都呈现出显著差异。词汇教学要运用语料库手段,重视词汇搭配教学,要在比较中教和学目的语词汇。
The development of Corpus Linguistics creates the possibility of the vocabulary collocation behavior. This paper, adopting the corpus-based approach, makes comparison and analysis of the collocational behavior of "seek" between its use in native English speakers' Corpus and that in Chinese Learner English Corpus, revealing that there exists obvious differ- ence in colligation, senses use, collocates and semantic prosody when the native English speakers and Chinese English speakers are producing "seek". This paper seeks to highlight the collocation instruction and stress the significant role of comparison between mother language and target language in vocabulary learning and teaching.
