语用失误是造成跨文化交际失败的重要原因,鉴于其普遍性和文化特殊性,礼貌成为语用学和跨文化研究的重要课题。论文基于一项大学生语用失误调查,着重分析了礼貌语语用失误产生的主要原因,指出了培养和提高学生语用能力和文化意识的必要性和迫切性,对英语教学有重要启示。

Pragmatic failure is the primary, cause of cross-cultural communication failure. Given its universality and cultural specificity, courtesy has become an important subject in pragmatics and cross-cuhural studies. Based on a survey of university students pragqmatic failure, the paper focuses on the main reasons for the pragmatic failure of politeness language and points out the necessity and urgency of cultivating and improving students pragmatic competence and cultural awareness. The paper hopes to be helpful for the English teaching.
