目前的高职教育发展迅速,大部分高职院校把培养目标定位在职业技能人才培养上,忽略了学生人文素质的培养,这必将影响高职教育未来的发展。大学英语本身也是人文科学的课程,肩负着培养和提高学生人文素质的重任。未来的社会需要的不仅仅是技能性人才,更需要的有较高文化素质的综合性人才。

As vocational education makes rapid progress at present,most colleges aim at cultivating talents with good vocational skills,ignoring cultivation of humanistic qualities,which must affect the development of vocational education in the future.College English,as a course of human studies,is responsible for cultivating and developing humanistic qualities of students.Future society needs not only talents with skills,but also those with higher humanistic qualities.
