Method This paper has analyzed the opportunities and challenges for Chinese pharmaceutical preparations to be exported to the European and American markets, and proposed the corresponding measures and suggestions. Conclusion Chinese pharmaceutical industry should adapt to the trend of the global pharmaceutical manufacturing center transferring to Asia, overcome its shortcomings, and actively participate in the international drug production, so as to achieve industrial upgrading.
