社会变迁与浙东堕民的解放和消融

Social Changes and the Emancipation and Melting of Duomin in East Zhejiang Province

自清初以来,统治者多次下令解放堕民,但在传统等级制度和等级思想的禁锢下,堕民无力也不愿改变自己的寄附处境。直到近代以来,堕民地位才有所改善。但真正得到解放并消融于社会,则是在中华人民共和国成立以后。堕民的解放和消融始终伴随着社会变迁,这是笔者在对浙东堕民遗存长达十年的田野调查后得出的结论。

Since early Qing Dynasty,the rulers of all levels ordered to emancipate Duomin several times.Shackled and stratified by traditional hierarchy and hierarchical ideology,Duomin were unable and unwilling to free themselves from the attaching situation.Not until the contemporary times was Duomin's social status fundamentally changed.It was since the founding of People's Republic of China that Duomin was genuinely emancipated and began to mix into society.The conclusion drawn in the present paper is that the emancipation and melting of Duomin took place the change of the whole society,supported and proved by the author's ten-year-long field investigation into the surviving Duomin in East Zhejiang Province.
