近年来,随着通讯技术以及互联网的发展,我们的信息环境已经发生了巨大的变化。Google等搜索引擎的迅猛发展与壮大,使图书馆正面临着被边缘化的危险。现代图书馆究竟应该如何在新的信息环境中求得生存与发展,一直是图书馆界学者们探讨的热点。文章首先分析了现代图书馆信息环境的种种变化,然后采用比较分析的方法总结了搜索引擎Google的服务优势,从而探讨当前形式下提升现代图书馆服务的措施。

In recent years, with the development of internet and communicating technologies, great changes have occurred in the information environment. The rapid development and growing stronger of search engines such as GooSe makes libraries in danger of being marginalized. This paper highlights some of the changes occurring in the information environment, analyzes service superiorities of Google and suggests ways of promoting modem library services effectively to today＇s users. 10 refs.
