Re-Study on Mao Ze-Dong's Thought and the Theoretical System of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics

党的十七大为什么不把毛泽东思想纳入中国特色社会主义理论体系中呢?这是基于以下四个方面的因素:中国特色社会主义是在纠正毛泽东晚期探索失误更是在错误中走出的一条新路;毛泽东所开始的只是对建设规律探索不是理论体系创立;中国特色社会主义理论是对毛泽东思想的继承更是对毛泽东思想的创新;毛泽东思想的理论历史贡献主要突显在中国革命中。

Why Mao Ze-Dong＇ s thought was not taken into the theoretical system of socialism with Chinese characteristics by the CPC＇ s 17th congress？ There are four reasons for it. First, socialism with Chinese characteristics was a new way the CPC found out in correcting Mao Ze-Dong＇ s mistakes of his late years; Second, at Mao Ze-Dong＇ s time, the CPC just began to study the rules of construction but not to create theoretical system; Third, the theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics inherited but also innovated Mao Ze-Dong＇ s thought; Last, the contribution of Mao Ze-Dong＇ s thought was mainly made to Chinese revolution.
