摘要
在大学英语教学中培养学生自主学习词汇的能力,首先要让学生了解词汇学习的诸多方面,其次要教会学生正确使用词典。文章重点论述了教师在语境中教授学生学习半固定语块并做相应的扩展,使学生真正掌握词汇学习的方法。
This paper discusses how to cultivate learner autonomy in English vocabulary learning among college students in the process of instruction. It points out that teachers should familiarize students with various aspects of vocabulary learning and teach them how to use dictionaries. The article holds that teaching how to identify chunks in context and expand similar expressions plays an important role in cultivating learner autonomy in vocabulary learning, thus enabling students to grasp vocabulary learning strategies.
